As a result, pet owners have almost no recourse in recovering expenses or finding justice for their injured pets other than an expensive trip to court. I discovered a recent small claims case at the Brookline District Court between the grooming business Tails Inc. and a couple after they discovered their dog suffered spinal cord trauma.
